Arabic-speaking Project Coordinator

WE ARE HIRING | Part-time Position for Bilingual Arabic & English Project Coordinator. Do you speak fluent Arabic and English, and are you highly motivated to join WCA in expanding its work for the Aramean people in the Arabic-speaking home countries? Our goal is to increase WCA’s work and communications with the disappearing Arameans in the homeland, especially in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon. This part-time position will be for a duration of at least three (3) years and comes with a remuneration of approx. €1.000,- per month (it may be a bit less or more, depending on one's age, qualifications and location).

THREE MAIN TASKS 
1. Projects: to set up, execute, supervise and complete projects.
2. Reports: to communicate with local Arameans, summarize their needs and challenges, and propose recommendations.
3. Translations: to translate documents from Arabic-English and English-Arabic. (Knowledge of Tur-Abdin Aramaic is a preference.)

We are not interested in applicants who solely consider the remuneration or who strictly count their hours. We are rather looking for a dedicated person who sincerely cares about the fate of the neglected Aramean people and who wishes to contribute meaningfully to their wellbeing.
